A bakery built on family, and friendship.

I always admired my grandmother in the kitchen making homemade birthday cakes, as she would share her secret baking tips with me. That's why going through school I knew I wanted to make a name for myself and I knew baking was the way to go.

 

Selling my first cakes and cupcakes to close friends and family taught me many skills and gave me the practice I needed. Soon I was taking orders by the dozens for cupcakes and treats. Going to culinary school was just the first rocking the river for me.

 

Learning at one of the best schools in Pittsburgh, PA., I received my degree in Culinary Arts, only to leave and move back home to Cleveland, OH., where I would hit the ground running with new tricks and tips that I was taught. I took what I was taught from my grandmother as a boy, and put those skills to use.

 

The Creation of Antics' Cakes and Confections began in 2013. Starting, and remain a home based business has thought me many things about the business world.

 

 

Receiving my Business Administration degree with a minor in small business, I have learned many valuable things. One was the best way to bring affordable cakes to my customers. By keeping overhead cost low, we can spend more time on the things that really matter to our customers, the experience and the cakes.
